For the past four years Carterton District Council and the Carterton District Trails Trust have worked with the Regional Council, Iwi, community groups as well as
individuals to plan an extension to the existing trails beyond Greytown to Carterton. We have identified an agreed trail pathway, an agreed bridge design over the Waiohine River and an agreed site for the bridge.
